A Fanatic’s Introduction to Tea

Cold Tea for Hot Days, Hot Tea for Cold Days, Warm Tea for Autumn Days, There Is Never A Down Season for Tea

The very act of pouring a cup of tea is, in of itself, awe-inspiring and calming.   The rich aromas that waft from a cup of berry tea, the light dance from a cup of white tea, the robust blast from a cup of black tea, all titillate the senses and stimulate the soul.

But what exactly is the allure of this intoxicating beverage that has captivated the hearts and minds of drinkers for centuries?   After all, something must have made passionate tea drinkers return again and again, even hosting parties where the main beverage was not beer nor wine, but tea.

In this blog, I’ll be exploring the wonders of tea from the perspective of a self-proclaimed “tea-aholic,” explaining more about the history of tea, the medicinal benefits and sprinkling in some recipes along the way.   Feel welcome to experiment with this magical beverage, let me know your thoughts and, of course, enjoy as we explore just how amazing this drink truly is.
